Customer success & events manager supporting nonprofit clients by day, community healer and coach by night, Haylee Thikeo is a Lao American womxn passionate about vulnerable storytelling.
With a degree in Media Studies from Northeastern University, Haylee has facilitated a number of workshops across the country including at ECAASU and BAASIC. Some of her workshop topics include: Asian American Identity in the Media, Reclaiming our Asian American Identity with Digital Media and Personal Branding Tools, and How to Use Social Media for Social Justice: Hashtag Activism 101. She has been an invited guest panelist to the Regent Park Film Festival and the Boston Asian American Film Festival.
Haylee believes in the healing power of storytelling. This belief inspired her to curate Stories of Asian America a digital collection of narratives capturing Asian American and Asian Immigrant experiences in Boston, Massachusetts and she co-founded Talk Story Oakland, Bay Area's Asian American community storytelling space.
